The Wenvoe Arms
The Wenvoe Arms is a pretty, traditional village pub which oozes charm, warmth and hospitality. The pub has a cosy and comfortable atmosphere accompanied with excellent service.
Digby and Jennie have a wealth of experience in the licensed trade. During the past forty years they have run similar establishments throughout the Vale of Glamorgan. They also ran pubs in Cornwall and Devon. Whilst in Cornwall they achieved recognition in the Michelin Pub Guide.
The pub is the hub of the village as well as a destination for tourists who visit the many attractions in the area throughout the year.
The pub offers bar and lounge as well as a function room for selected occasions. During the winter months you can cosy up in the bar areas with roaring log firs whilst enjoying your food or just a relaxing drink. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar, subject to space and time.

For the summertime and dry days, there are three lovely outside areas for alfresco entertaining.
There is also the Outside Inn, which is a converted stable that is ideal for enjoying a sneaky drink with your dog if you get caught in the rain.
It is a perfect place to enjoy great company, great food and great ales.

Warm welcome, with great selection of beers and food. Visited twice whilst staying locally, beware of the steak and ale pie, they say not for the faint hearted...it was very filling!. still not one to share!

It is an authentic place to eat, it has 2 large, very pleasant outdoor terraces, a good variety of draft beers and the food is very good, you can tell that it is all homemade.

Immediate warm welcome on entry. Quick efficient service with a smile ! Starter was an average pub dish. The mains were really lovely & both our fish dishes were extremely tasty.

Superb. Lovely warm welcome, great ambience, good quality delicious food well cooked that arrived piping hot. Staff had a “nothings too much trouble” attitude. Simply wonderful.
