A warm welcome awaits you at the Wenvoe Arms from Digby and Jennie Rees and their team.
Digby and Jennie bring years of experience of running award-winning pubs across the country. It all started with the Cwm-Ciddy Tavern, Barry, where they worked with Jennie’s mother and father, Edna and Jim Cooper.
After nearly twelve years in the West Country they have returned home and are pleased to open the doors to the newly refurbished Wenvoe Arms and continue their dedication to excellent food, beer and service.
Their daughter, Bianca, 3rd generation publican, also brings passion and considerable knowledge of real ales. Bianca ‘Binki’ Rees is an award-winning landlady in her own right and a champion of real ale.
The Wenvoe Arms is a traditional village pub full of charm and character but with a contemporary feel. It offers open fires, great food and real ales with excellent service. It is the ideal place to meet with friends and enjoy a relaxed drink or a sumptuous meal. The free Wi-Fi also makes it the perfect venue to enjoy a cup of organic fair-trade coffee for your intimate business meeting.
The food offer is good value, honest food with a modern twist. It is their intention that, wherever possible, they source seasonal food from some of the best farmers, growers and producers throughout the South Wales region.
So whatever your reason to visit, the team at The Wenvoe Arms will make your time here enjoyable.
